Fuel Stabilization

Recommended Posts

Completing my first season with my Robalo 180.

Did not log a ton of hours and did not use much gas. The boat had about a 1/2 a tank when purchased. That gas was treated last Fall prior to storage.  At the start of the 21" season I just about filled the tank took 20 gallons. That new gas was treated with Yamahas stabilizer / conditioner. The tank is now between 1/2 & 3/4.

I plan to add more fresh gas to get it close to Full and reduce the chance for condensation over winter. I will treat that new gas with Yamahas stabilizer / conditioner.

Question is do I add more fresh stabilizer to the old gas or consider it treated? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Grif
